John Alexander

John Alexander is a director of the CallManager software development group at Cisco. His experience is primarily in the field of voice communications, including call processing, voice messaging, call center, and switching systems.



William R. Parkhurst

William R. Parkhurst, Ph.D., CCIE No. 2969, is the manager of the CCIE Development group at Cisco Systems. The CCIE Development group is responsible for all new CCIE written qualification and laboratory exams. Prior to joining the CCIE team, Bill was a Consulting Systems Engineer supporting the Sprint Operation. Bill first became associated with Cisco Systems while he was a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Wichita State University. In conjunction with Cisco Systems, WSU established the first CCIE Preparation Laboratory.



Chris Pearce

Chris Pearce is a Cisco distinguished engineer in the CallManager software development group at Cisco. His expertise includes call routing, call control, and telephone features. Chris is directly involved in developing the system architecture and design.



Anne Smith

Anne Smith

Anne Smith is a software engineer in the Unified Communications Manager architecture group at Cisco Systems. She joined Cisco as part of the Selsius Systems acquisition in 1998 and is the co-author of Cisco CallManager Fundamentals, Cisco CallManager Best Practices, and Developing Cisco IP Phone Services.



Delon Whetten

Delon Whetten is a senior manager of the call processing team in the CallManager software development group at Cisco. His experience centers on the design and development of message switching, voice messaging, and VoIP call processing systems.
