Mark Nelson is a programmer in the Cisco Systems Enterprise Voice, Video Business Unit and has authored a number of books including The Data Compression Book, Second Edition, Serial Communications: A C++ Developers Guide, Second Edition, and C++ Programmers Guide to the Standard Template Library. Mark has written numerous magazine articles and is an online columnist for Dr. Dobb's Journal.

Anne Smith is a software engineer in the Unified Communications Manager architecture group at Cisco Systems.
