CCNP TSHOOT Lab Manual

Update 1:
I have updated my rating from 1 to 4 stars to reflect the availability of the device config files from the publisher's website (pointed out in the comments below). I will update this review further once I have the opportunity to try out the configs. I apologize that it took me nine months to see the comment pointing out the config files were now available.

While this lab manual is of comparable style and depth to both the current CCNP ROUTE & SWITCH lab manuals, as well as the previous CCNP lab manuals, it has one glaring omission they do not. Unlike those other six lab manuals, this one does not include the device initial configurations for each lab in printed form, it simply tells you to load specific text files that are to be provided by your network academy instructor. I had some concerns about purchasing this book after reading the only posted review. I have the ROUTE lab manual and I think it's fantastic. So I decided to do some research and found the lab configuration files are available at the Cisco Press website. They seem to be very comprehensive configurations and I think this is the reason they were not included in the lab manual due to the amount of space required. I'm certain this book will meet or exceed the expectation of quality displayed in the Route lab manual. Great companions to the self-study guides for those wanting to learn and become certified at their own pace. I think all Cisco material should be arranged in this type of format since time and budget resources are stretched so thin for IT professionals these days!
