Purchased this as a textbook for an Introduction to Networking course. Only negative is that CISCO is still using Windows XP on ALL their labs. If you are using Vista or Windows 7, you will need to adapt to different screen shots. As this is a thick text, I took it to FedEx Office [formerly Kinko's] and had it spiral bound into 3 sections: 1. Textbook, 2. Labs & 3. Answers, glossary & index. Good basic intro book.

This book was purchased for a class I was taking and was cheaper than going through the college bookstore. I was able to perform a lot of beginning networking projects to increase my knowledge of networking as a whole.
