Lesson 3: Configuring an IBGP Peering Session
The issues around establishing a BGP session between peers in the same AS are discussed, focusing on the reasons why a full mesh of IBGP peering sessions is required. A topology with multiple routers within the same AS is added to the basic topology used in the previous units. The configuration elements unique to IBGP are introduced, followed by a configuration demonstration using these elements.
